John’s wife Jo found an old claw foot tub at an estate sale in Maine and it had been languishing in their garage for years. She had a total vision to remodel their existing bathroom by enlarging in into a very small 3rd bedroom that was just adjacent.
“From beginning to end, I’ve been impressed with Mark’s thoughtful and creative approach to the renovations we’ve done on our home. They are attentive to every detail, and always met or exceeded our expectations. Best of all, they’ve been a pleasure to work with.” John D. – Newton, MA
When I first met them, I was bowled over by the perfect simplicity of their Arts & Crafts bungalow in Newton, MA. The wood work was in great shape and their number one goal was to extend that sensibility into the new bathroom. We were careful to design the space so that there was a warm feel, selecting wood to match the rest of the house, matching stains carefully to integrate it perfectly. We also incorporated tiles they had bought during their travels into the walk in shower.
The end result was a cozy space that fit all of their needs. We were able to maximize their budget by suggesting cost effective changes that, in the end, worked better than they had imagined. The best part is that we became friends over this project.
